TURN TO TAP

Looking into depth about the controversy of the bottled water industry, concentrating on the environmental issues surrounding the subject, I created an installation and publication to reflect these findings. When considering the life cycle of a bottle of water, its energy costs are the equivalent to filling up a quarter of each bottle with oil. This statement developed to me using oil as a main material in both my installation and publication. The publication itself has been dipped in oil, making the top quarter of the paper transparent, allowing the design on all the pages to work together.
